In search of Nandi............

Nandi (Sanskrit: नंदी), is the bull which Siva rides and the gate keeper of Siva and Parvati in Hindu mythology. Temples venerating Siva and Parvati display stone images of a seated Nandi, generally facing the main shrine. There are also a number of temples dedicated solely to Nandi.

But the Chinese seemed to venerate them more...... in paintings.
To the followers of Goddess of Mercy, they are sacred too.
